About Us
Welcome, my name is Arthur Stark and my family and I purchased La Rosa and Loma Pinta in March of 2008. I have spent the last 18 years managing ranches both in Texas and for the last 11 years in Mexico. Our goal was to find the perfect ranch with two goals in mind. Number 1 - a safe location for American tourists/hunters. Number 2 - a ranch with all the ingredients to raise the biggest deer in Mexico. We were very fortunate to purchase these ranches and that the previous owner had already accomplished goal number 2 when in 1991 he imported a number of trophy bucks and bred does to compliment the already impressive genetics on the ranch. He then instituted a management program culminating in a magnificent number of trophy class deer. An example is Hunter McLaughlin who harvested his 10 point 157 B&C the very first afternoon of the 2008 season. (Pictured to the right)Over the last 11 years we have been involved in a very small, personal hunting business here in Coahuila, Mexico. We plan on continuing to keep very low numbers of hunters each year with no more than two or four hunters on the ranch at any one time. It has been our experience that once hunters come hunt with us it turns into a yearly trip and a good friendship.
